Dr. Kelly has been in private practice for over 17 years. He returned to Houston in 2014 after practicing in Los Angeles for 6 years with a specific focus on sports medicine. In Los Angeles, he was Director of Physical Therapy at VERT Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation in Reseda, California where he focused on treating professional NBA, MLB, PGA and, collegiate athletes. Upon returning to Houston, Dr. Kelly has taken the experience that he obtained treating professional athletes and applied it to all age ranges to accelerate functional recovery and return them to their life activities.

Dr. Kelly’s practice philosophy is to treat every patient as a professional athlete because they are a professional in the sport which is called “Life”. He believes that the more the patient knows about their condition the better choices they can make for themselves and understand why certain things may take longer to resolve. So, he takes the time to explain in detail and answer all the questions a patient may have.

Dr. Kelly is married and is the father of two young boys. Outside of practicing physical therapy, he enjoys coaching their baseball and soccer teams, cycling, golfing, traveling and family activities.
